Sayer's Suppers

All resources are available completely free of charge. Sean’s House is dedicated to providing accessible mental health care to all.

Sayer Rhys Evans was a member of the 1st graduating class of Newark Charter High School, a Homecoming King, a WPD Police Officer, an honored member of B and C platoons, and so much more. Most importantly, Sayer was a son, a brother, a friend.

Sadly, Sayer lost his mental health battle to suicide on November 19, 2022. In his memory, his mother, Donna Peterson, has created Sayer’s Suppers. Donna is a local chef and has generously been donating meals, snacks, and other treats to Sean’s House since soon after Sayer’s passing. “Donna’s Fridge,” as it has come to be known, offers guests a free meal to enjoy either here at the House with friends and guests, or to take and eat in the comfort of their own home. We are so grateful for Donna and her efforts to help support mental health and prevent suicide by offering a meal – something that can bring people together, provide comfort, and support overall wellbeing.

In addition to Sayer’s Suppers, Sean’s House always has snacks, drinks, coffee, and other treats available for our guests in the kitchen.

Come for the food, stay for the conversation.
