What We Offer: Newark DE Mental Health Resources

PAWS Pet Therapy

All resources and help available at Sean’s House are COMPLETELY FREE to young adults in the community. You will never be asked for a donation or repayment of services.

We want you to come walk in our front door (no need to knock, just come on in) so that one of our peer support specialists can greet you, whether you just want to find a quiet corner to study or relax, are looking for resources for a mental health challenge, want to connect with fellow students or young adults, or experiencing a mental health crisis.

Peer Support for Mental Health

Our doors are open 24/7 for young adults to come visit and talk about the stresses of life, anxiety, depression, or all forms of mental health challenges that may occur.

We have over 100 young adult Peer Specialists who have lived experience with similar challenges and will sit and talk to any of our visitors who are looking for a little extra guidance or assistance.

Food!

Sean’s House is always stocked with coffee, cold beverages, snacks, and often catered meals or treats (including Sean’s favorite chocolate chip cookies!), due to generous donations from local restaurants and our community. Come be nourished with food and a warm welcome every time.

Events for Students and Young Adults

We offer events of all types to help you connect with other young adults with shared interests. From yoga classes to free coffee to puppy snuggling sessions, you will find others who are going through similar challenges and share interests. We would love to host your team at organization at Sean’s House by providing food, space, and great conversation. Contact us today to schedule a hosted event for your organization.
