Gather & Grow Dinners

All resources are available completely free of charge. Sean’s House is dedicated to providing accessible mental health care to all.

A Gather & Grow Dinner at Sean’s House is a great way for a group to learn more about the House and get in touch with your own mental health. At a typical Gather & Grow, we will invite the group to enjoy a meal from one of our local sponsors in either the dining room or the backyard. During the meal, our Peers and Peer Leads will talk to the guests about Sean and his story and the resources we offer at the House. Following dinner, the group will be invited to participate in a mental health based activity led by one of our Peers or Peer Leads. After completing the activity, tours will be offered for any first time visitors, and then the group is free to enjoy the space however they see fit. This may include seeking support, playing yard games or board games, doing a craft, or checking out books from our Lending Library.

Gather & Grow Dinners are completely free, and we welcome many different groups, such as high school or college clubs, sports teams, community groups, and more. In addition to all of the above activities, we also offer naloxone training through various organizations including Face the Facts DE, HeroHelp, and atTAcK addiction to anyone interested. We also host seasonal High School Athlete Dinners in the Fall, Winter, and Spring for any high school athlete who may be interested in digging deeper into their mental health and how to support others. Additionally, we host International Student Dinners once a month for our friends within the community who may be missing the feeling of home.

We are currently booking Gather & Grows for this winter and upcoming spring!
