Hi! My name is Hannah and I’m from Olney, MD:) I am a senior at the University of Delaware and majoring in Psychology with minors in Forensic Science and Art! I hope to attend grad school once I graduate to get my Masters in Social Work.

I’ve been navigating my own journey with anxiety and depression since the age of 14, which has shaped who I am today. Working at Sean’s House allows me to channel that experience into something meaningful; raising awareness, offering support, and helping others feel seen and heard. I’m passionate about making a positive impact and committed to doing everything I can with care, empathy, and my full effort.

I love Sean’s House because it’s a space where people can show up exactly as they are and know they’re not alone. It’s more than just a safe place, it’s a community built on understanding, compassion, and real connection. Being part of something that actively supports mental health and reminds people that their lives matter means everything to me.

Outside of Seans House, reading is one of my favorite things to do! I can read a 600 page book in one day if I have the time! I also enjoy arts and crafts, going on walks, and cooking.

To me, recovery means taking life one day at a time and learning to face each moment without expecting the worst. By focusing on the present instead of anticipating negative outcomes, I’ve found it easier to manage my anxiety and appreciate each day for what it brings. It’s a constant process, but one that allows me to feel more grounded.
