Director of Comms

Hi everyone, I am Missy Marazzo! I am 24 years old and I am from Wilmington, Delaware. I graduated from the University of Delaware in 2024 with a degree in Media Communications and worked as a Peer Lead during my time at UD. Shortly after graduating, I rejoined the team as the Social Media Manager and was able to combine my passion for mental health advocacy with creative content creation.

With every reel, graphic, or post I publish, my goal is simple: to reach just one person who might see our content and feel inspired to get help, to know they aren’t alone, and remember that no feeling is final.

My connection to this mission is deeply personal. At 16, I began struggling with my mental health and was later diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and ADHD. During that time, even the smallest tasks felt overwhelming. It wasn’t until I discovered photography and videography that I found a sense of purpose again. Creativity became an outlet to channel my struggles into something positive, and ultimately led me to pursue Media Communications in college.

To me, recovery is acknowledging how much light I was able to find in my darkness, and knowing in times of darkness that I will see the light again. In my initial period of darkness, I thought the light would never turn back on. But now when I go through dark periods, I know the people and things that can show me where the light switch is, and help me turn it on.

When I am not at Sean’s House, you can find me in Trolley Square with my cat Chip, my 2 roommates, and their cats Queso & Winky. In my free time, I enjoy photography, reading (& listening to) books, thrift shopping, trying new arts & crafts projects, & spending time with my friends & family.
