Rehan Noon
Hi! My name is Rehan and I am currently a Senior studying Cognitive Science at UD, with a concentration in psychology and a minor in philosophy. I’m aiming to explore the psychotherapy route after I graduate, and I’m excited to bring my experience and knowledge from campus to the field. My own mental health has been something I focused on much more after a cancer diagnosis in my early teens- going through my middle and high school years having lost most of the things I had as a kid, there was a stagnation I felt with myself. Getting out of it meant learning where I could reorient my life by learning more about myself and what I truly valued in the face of nothingness- having an outlook on what life could be instead of what it just is tremendously helped.
I’m excited to begin my journey as a Peer Lead where I can take these lessons among the ones I’ve learned from my years as a Peer Specialist and turn them into a guide to light the way for others. Outside of work and school I love long walks, focusing on small DIY projects at home, and playing soccer. But no matter what I’m doing, being able to reflect on the things I’ve experienced through the years has led to me being much more capable than I was, and I am always grateful for that wisdom. Speaking of capabilities, I’m really good at ping pong, and I’ll prove it the second we can bring a table into the house.
