Jean Marie Rowe

Hey there! My name is Jean-Marie Rowe, but you can call me Jean. I am a Cecil County, MD native and a recent Towson University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resource Management. During my time at Towson, I participated in a program called MentHER where we as female business students both received a female mentor and served as mentors to high school juniors and seniors. Participating in that experience motivated me to seek out professional opportunities that would provide me with the same fulfillment that came from serving the community in an educational capacity – enter Sean’s House! 

As someone who has experienced their own variety of mental health challenges, I felt led to serve as the Peer Support Manager at Sean’s House because this role allows me to channel my lived experiences into supporting young adults navigating their own mental health journeys. In my position, I get to do this through training new cohorts of Peer24 support specialists and managing the Peer24 Leads in the house. 

Outside of the house, you can find me reading a Mitch Albom book, hiking to enjoy a scenic view, having the time of my life at a live music event, or browsing the aisles at an arts and crafts store looking for (another) new hobby to get into!
