Caroline Leone
Hi hi!! I am Caroline, and I am from Hockessin, DE. I am a Junior Psychology major with a double minor in Human Development and Family Science and Disability Studies. I started volunteering at Sean’s House as a Peer Support Specialist in Fall of 2025 and now am excited to be a Peer Lead!!
I found out about Sean’s House because I was a student at Saint Marks High School and was immediately interested in the sense of community and mission of Sean’s House. After visiting the house for the first time I knew that it was something special that I was excited at the opportunity of being a part of. Having grown up in the dance community I struggled with my own mental health struggles and felt it was something that needed to be brought to light. And Sean’s House sheds the light for those to feel supported and safe.
Outside of Sean’s House when I am not focused on the rigor of school or time with family and friends, I am a member of the University of Delaware Dance Team. We compete at UDA Nationals and perform at UDs Football and Basketball games. I also am in love with fitness and have a passion for weight lifting and cross training. I participated in my first HYROX competition last year and am hoping to do many more in the future.
Recovery for me looks like keeping true to myself and what makes me feel at peace while also considering and taking care of those around me. Recovery and self care come in waves. Sometimes acknowledging a tough moment or situation and then being aware and taking it all in to then grow or learn from it is what helps bring me peace. Falling back on the 3 F’s: Family, Fitness, and Faith!!
