Alexis Fleck

Heyy, my name is Alexis!  I currently live in Newark, but my hometown is Dover.  I graduated UD with my degree in Human Services and a minor in psychology in Spring 2025.  In the future, I would like to get my masters and become a therapist.  I started at Sean’s House as an intern during my spring semester of my senior year.  Before this, I had an internship where I led a support group for children. I was wanting experience in a more one-on-one setting with an older age range, leading me here!  As my internship here progressed, I ended up loving the space and the community that comes with it so much I decided to stay as a peer lead!  When I am not here, you can normally find me somewhere in nature, driving around, with my dog, or going on adventures with my friends.  To me, recovery is the process of an individual learning how to healthily recognize and cope with their own mental health and/or life challenges in a way that works for them.  In recovery, it is always important to take it day by day!
