Andy Langman
Hi everyone, my name is Andy Langman (he/him) and I am a class of 2026 UD alum from Ambler, PA.
I work at Sean’s House because I have always felt passionately about mental health and I want to make lasting impacts on the community through my leadership and peer support. To me, recovery looks like allowing yourself to take a step back to prioritize your own health, which I have had to do several times and always encourage others to do as well. At Sean’s House I work to maintain a warm and welcoming environment for guests and peers. My time at Sean’s House has had such a meaningful impact on me that I switched my career trajectory from medicine to psychology. I can’t wait to gain a higher scope of knowledge to make more lifelong impacts as a psychologist.
I am currently taking a gap year where I am continuing to work as a Peer Lead at Sean’s House and then I plan on embarking on a new journey in graduate school to get my psy-d. A fun fact about me is that I worked as an EMT for a year and have some crazy stories to talk about. For fun I enjoy working out and watching some of my favorite TV shows including Survivor, Breaking Bad, and Parks and Rec.
