Jack Cunningham

Hey everyone! My name is Jack and I’m from Wilmington Delaware studying International Relations and I use he/him pronouns.  I first heard about Sean’s story through the UnLocke the Light Basketball tournament which inspired me to look further into the SL24 Organization. When I started high school, I became more of an active participant in the Wellness Center eventually becoming a Peer Counselor in the summer of 2024. Through this experience, my interest in advocacy continued to expand which inspired me to apply for a Peer Lead position. Outside of Sean’s House, I spend my time thrifting, reading, and listening to music (Dolly Parton and Arthea Franklin and my favorites). To me recovery looks like getting back in touch with the things you enjoy and prioritizing these things that rejuvenate you. Whether it be going out for a run or singing your favorite song, prioritizing these moments in recovery is important and has helped me find the light in challenging moments!
