LGBTQ+ Group

Fourth Wednesday of Every Month

7 pm

The LGBTQ+ Support group was created by a Peer24 Leader at Sean’s House who identified a need for a supportive space for people ages 14-24 that are a part of the LGBTQ+ community. It is a structured and supported environment that creates the emotional safety needed to discuss and reflect on a variety of topics surrounding mental health in the LGBTQ+ community. This group is facilitated by an LGBTQ+ identifying, trauma-informed therapist.

Grief Group

Second and Fourth Sunday of Every Month

2 pm

The death of someone important to you is one of the hardest things to experience in life. You may feel emotions like sadness, anger, and guilty, or experience times of anxiety or depression. All of these are normal responses to losing a loved one. There are people who care and are willing to help you. Just as each person is unique, so also is the way someone’s death impacts them. At Sean’s House, we’ve learned that being there for one another is crucial. We listen and do not judge. We respect you by acknowledging your presence, your importance, your thoughts, and your feelings. We are here to walk with you through the journey of grief.
