Angela Pugliese

Director

Hi! My name is Angela Pugliese, but most people just call me Ang. I graduated from West Chester University in 2013 with a degree in History and a certificate in Secondary Education, and from Wilmington University in 2018 with a Master’s of Instruction in Gifted and Talented Education. I spent the last 10 years in secondary education, with my most fond memories spent during my 8 years at Padua Academy, where I also graduated from high school. During my tenure at Padua, I served in numerous roles in addition to my teaching load, including moderating the Blue Gold Club and Big Sister Little Sister Program.

I felt called to continue my role of educating, assisting, and supporting young people in a different capacity here at Sean’s House because mental health has always been a part of my life’s journey. I feel especially close to the mission here because I knew Sean personally- he was one of my brother’s best friends. As Director of Sean’s House, I hope to further my connections with students and young adults in the Delaware community and continue to provide a safe haven for them here. When I’m not at 136 West Main Street, I enjoy reading, going to the beach, and spending time with my husband, Giuseppe, and daughter, Adrianna.
